Fulbright recipient Briana Petrusa, ‘21, is combining her interests in chemistry and Spanish to pursue a career in medicine helping underserved populations. 

Following her graduation from Meredith, she will conduct research on Parkinson’s disease in Madrid, Spain through the Fulbright program. (Read more about Meredith’s Fulbright program recipients).

Once her Fulbright experience is complete, Briana will begin medical school to continue on her path towards becoming a physician. Having discovered how to be an independent learner at Meredith, she feels prepared for the path ahead.
