Do You Want to Adopt a Freshman?

As we prepare to welcome the Class of 2026 to campus this fall, alumnae are invited to once again Adopt a Freshman. Whether you want to connect with a member of the Class of 2026 from your region, state, area of interest, or major, we look forward to welcoming all members of the Class of 2026 to Wonderland.

To participate in the Adopt a Freshman program, sign up through our private Facebook group.

Members of the Class of 2026 will soon receive an invitation to participate. Those who opt-in will be asked to post information about themselves, including their hometown, hobbies and interests, majors, and career goals. From there, you can “adopt” your freshman and welcome this student to the Meredith family.

If you do not have a Facebook account but would still like to participate in the Adopt a Freshman program, please contact the Office of Alumnae Relations at alumnae@meredith.edu. We will be happy to manually pair you with a member of the Class of 2026.

Did you know you can apply to be a licensed vendor?

As an alumna of the College, you take great pride in Meredith College including our brand, image, and name.

Are you selling items with Meredith College’s name, logos, colors, slogans, mascot, and other proprietary rights? Those items are trademarked, meaning Meredith College owns all rights, title, and interest in its marks, including but not limited to photos, illustrations, and paintings of campus buildings. Anyone who manufactures or sells any products bearing the Meredith marks must have the permission of the College.

If you are selling items with Meredith’s marks and images, we invite you to apply and become a part of our Community Connect Program. Benefits of the Community Connect Program include being able to market your business as a Meredith College authorized vendor and having access to Meredith’s trademarks and authorized licensed vendor hangtags. In doing so, you will also be preferred by the Meredith College community and partners.

To apply, go to the Direct Licensing Hub and select Apply for License.

Please contact Vanessa Harris, director of visual communications, at harrisva@meredith.edu if you have any questions.
