Help Your Class Win the Competition

Meredith Mayhem is in full swing. Alumnae, you have two more weeks to help your class win the competition. Meredith Mayhem runs from Alumnae Reunion Weekend through June 30. On Giving Day, we focused on reaching a monetary goal, and not only did we reach it, we far exceeded it this year, raising $1.1 million. But Meredith Mayhem is not about the amount of money raised, it is about class participation. Remember, all gifts during the fiscal year count toward class participation goals. The classes with the most donors in each decade will win the competition.

Weekly updates have been sent to all alumnae to track their class performance, and class gift agents receive updates to share with their classes. Leaderboards are refreshed daily on the Meredith Mayhem website. See where your class stands today!

Where Would You Like to Designate Your Gift?

While more substantial portions of the operating budget come from tuition and the endowment, unrestricted gifts to Meredith’s Greatest Needs Fund are essential to the financial health of the College and must be renewed every year. These funds support all of the immediate needs of the College like Impact Scholarships, service learning, study abroad, academic departments, faculty development, campus grounds and facilities, and presidential priorities. These funds provide flexibility for the College to prepare, react, and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.

Of course, we want our alumnae and donors to give where they are most passionate. If a direct gift to a scholarship, department, or program is better for you, those gifts also count toward your class participation. Every donation made during Meredith Mayhem supports students and faculty.

Take a moment today to support your class during this Meredith Mayhem competition. Annual gifts from alumnae like you keep Meredith College Going Strong!
