By Emily Parker

Meredith College’s new baccalaureate in nursing program marks a transformative step toward addressing the critical shortage of healthcare professionals in our state and beyond. We are excited that this vision has become a reality.

Diane Bacon, ‘80, established a scholarship endowment in December 2024. She made the gift in honor of Dr. Betty Webb and Dr. Charles Davis, who inspired her to double major in English and math and were instrumental during her time at Meredith.

Alumnae know the value of a Meredith education, are our best ambassadors, and play an essential role in keeping the College strong and vibrant. This year, to help recruit future Angels, the College revamped the alumnae website with information about how Meredith alumnae can share this institution with future students. The College received 124 referrals in 2024-25. Thank you to all who participated.
