A year ago, Alyson Kuhlke Jones, her husband, and their youngest daughter moved to Volcano, Hawaii to help her mother-in-law and to re-start a family farm. Jones still works as a missionary for Cru with her family. In her free time, they work to revive the family farm and plan to build a house.
Re-elected in November 2023, Amelia Stinson-Wesley is now serving her fifth year on the Pineville Town Council. She represents the Town of Pineville on the Regional Transportation Commission and the Regional Council of Governments. In addition to the town council, Stinson-Wesley serves on the NC Human Relations Commission as Governor Cooper’s appointee and is the senior pastor of Memorial United Methodist Church in Charlotte.
