Macy Brinson is working to obtain her master’s degree in kinesiology at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Upon graduating from Meredith in 2019, Kiersten Capps went on to earn a Master of Science in nutrition in 2021. In May 2022, Capps graduated from her dietetic internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is excited to have finally reached her long-term goal of being a registered dietitian (RD).

Chelsea Carre is completing a Master of Science in occupational therapy at East Carolina University and will graduate in December 2022. After graduating, Carre hopes to become a practicing pediatric occupational therapist in Black Mountain, N.C.

Maura Carroll is in her third year of teaching in Jacksonville, N.C., where she currently teaches third grade.

Caitlin Chastain is working as a marketing and events coordinator/small business advisor for the Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville at The Center for Economic Empowerment and Development.

Olivia Comer began a new position as a corporate recruiter at Prometheus Group.

Charley Cox is a health/physical education teacher. She stays busy as she coaches three high school sports teams.

Recently relocating back to her hometown, Wilmington, N.C., Ellie Cura has accepted a role as a full-time recruiter for a local company.

Tori Edwards Donadio works as a clinical research coordinator in pediatrics at East Carolina University.

Erica Driver is a preschool teacher with Johnston County Public Schools.

Obtaining her Master of Science in social work at North Carolina University, Leah Foil graduated in May 2022.

Studying at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Lia Hasapis is working towards earning her Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA).

Sana Haseeb has been accepted into medical school and will soon begin her studies in this program.

Jenna Hunter moved to Nashville, Tenn., and is working in the digital marketing department at iHeartMedia.

Jane Marshbanks Kelley is pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

While working as the admissions and outreach coordinator at Green Hill Recovery in Raleigh, N.C., Megan King is also studying to obtain her Master of Social Work from George Mason University.

Warner Little has moved to Alaska, where she will be completing her graduate clinical fellowship in trauma counseling.

Laura Lumbic is a special education teacher.

Mackenzie Mills graduated from Elon University School of Law in December 2021.

Sara Neese completed her Master of Arts in I-O psychology at Meredith College in May 2021. She has relocated to London and is working as a corporate strategic advisor.

Since graduating from Meredith, Daniela Patino has served as a post-baccalaureate International Reciprocal Trade Association (IRTA) fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences for two years. Patino is studying for her Master of Physiology at North Carolina State University. Next, she would like to enroll in dental school. Patino became a member of a local nonprofit, BailaCura, and spent time traveling in Mexico and New Orleans, La.

While studying to obtain her Master of Information Science at North Carolina Central University, Vianaire Sagero is working as a graduate intern at Dell Technologies.

Amanda Smith continued her education at NC State, obtaining her master’s degree in teaching. Smith recently began a new position as a sales development representative at RevGen in Raleigh, N.C. She is also looking forward to becoming an aunt later this year.

Katelyn Steadman was an author of a published cancer research paper.

Samantha Hester Sumpter began her career as a victim services coordinator with the Lincoln County Coalition Against Child Abuse and Child Advocacy Center.

Megan Tarpey is working at SAS in the Information Technology division. She is proud to have recently purchased a home and a truck.

After earning a master’s degree in clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling in May 2021, Stephens Whitehurst began working in private practice. Whitehurst works as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).

After completing the Fulbright Program in Mexico from 2019-20, Belle Williams moved to Washington, D.C., in the summer of 2020. After moving, Williams began a new position as a middle school Spanish teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools. Outside of work, Williams continues writing and making art.
