This past February, Kelly Phillips Erb visited Alaska as part of a team of tax attorneys participating in the Alaska Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Project. This effort is run by the tax-exempt Alaska Business Development Center (ABDC) in partnership with the American Bar Association (ABA). The group was ferried by single-engine planes, pick-up trucks, and snowmobiles to four towns over six days in subzero temperatures to assist low-income Alaskans in isolated areas with preparing their tax returns. Erb is grateful for this amazing experience!
