Lesley Williams Faulkner is the co-founder of Furnish for Good. With five other women, including Meredith alumna Kitty Mattox Bray, ’91, Faulkner started a nonprofit in Charlotte, N.C., in October 2019 and served their first family in January 2020. Modeled after Raleigh’s Green Chair Project, Furnish for Good works with partner agencies to provide furniture to neighbors coming out of homelessness. Furnish for Good just served their 100th family in December 2020; 85 of those moves happened after the COVID-19 pandemic began.
