Happy Neal Goethert has made it through another season in good health. She reports that farming always has something to do. Her local arts organization has begun to open studios on a limited basis, and she is now able to begin potting again after a year. It has been a time of reinventing how to do everyday things and get on with living. Goethert has been able to see her new grandson, born in February, a few times, too. Cleaning up years of precious things led her to reconnect with many of her Meredith classmates through their new reunion media Zoom. They are starting a memory stimuli from a four year collection of The Twig, which she gleans, writes a synopsis, and then shares in emails. Classmates then have a Zoom call during which they can discuss or chat. It has been great fun for “non-techies”!
