In her 28th year as an educator, Deanna Harris has left the library to enter the AIG (academically or intellectually gifted) classroom. Harris will be serving students at East Garner Elementary and Holly Ridge Middle schools in Wake County. While she knows that she will use her years of experience as a language arts teacher and school librarian, her nervousness and excitement is like being a first year teacher all over again!
